There are definitely limits to how often you can take the MCAT. You can take the exam a maximum of 3 times in one year and a maximum of 4 times in a two year period. In addition, you can only take the MCAT a maximum of 7 times in your lifetime.
Please also note that you can only be registered for one MCAT exam test date at a time. So while it might be tempting to reserve a second test date later in the summer in case you need to use it, you won’t be able to. In fact, you’ll need to wait at least 24 hours after you take the MCAT before you can register for another test date.
