How long does it take to prepare for the MCAT?

On average, a student will prepare for over 300 hours for the MCAT. We know that sounds like a lot but consider how long you spend preparing for a final exam in university! When you add up all of the time you spend working on pre-readings, classes and homework assignments, you will likely spend over 300 hours. Just consider the MCAT the most important final exam you will have taken up until this point!

Luckily, Wizeprep’s MCAT courses provide you with 150 class hours so we’ve already got you covered for half of your prep time just with our scheduled lessons. And that doesn’t even include time you spend on practice passages or practice exams!
